MDW Sales: Home Goods!
As you know Memorial Day Weekend is the first amazing weekend of summer where we spend the whole time stuffing our faces with hot dogs and hamburgers and laughing with our best friends while enjoying the sunshine! Well, 2020 has a different plan in store and by now I’m sure we’re all plenty aware and planning on spending MDW alone(ish), in our blow-up pools, and still stuffing our faces with hot dogs
(just me?).
So, besides the face stuffing- I’ll also be taking part in the major sales going on this weekend. I'm usually not one to post about crazy retail sales, but this year feels different. Probably because I am furnishing a new home! So, furniture sales are screaming my name!
Right now a lot of us are realizing the importance of truly loving our homes and putting on our best Chip and Joanna impersonation and fixing up whatever we can. DK and I bought our first home upstate. I can’t wait to be able to actually have room for real, beautiful furniture. No shade to my apartment lifestyle- we are still keeping our Brooklyn apartment to be able to work in the city, but most of our time will be spent upstate. That being said WE NEED FURNITURE and lots of it, And furniture is EXPENSIVE so hence my extreme excitement about the sales this weekend.
